Brockenhurst

Brockenhurst is a village set in the New Forest where some of the wild animals such as the ponies are allowed to roam. Although there is evidence of early civilisation in the area, it was not until William the Conqueror's reign (In Winchester initially) and his use of the New Forest for hunting that people lived in the area with some notable manors appearing in the Domesday book. |
